How to defrost your home made ice cream?

Home made ice cream are not like commercial ice cream.it gets hard when you keep in the freezer for days.....commercial ice cream includes stabilizers and other agents that keeps it soft...

So what you can do to your Ice cream is to put it into the chiller for 15-20 minute depend how much ice cream you have.This will defrost the ice cream evenly.After defrosting the ice cream,use a spoon to stir it..this will return a smooth texture to the ice cream..stirring break down the large ice crystal that forms in the freezer.
